Musings of a mother’s soul on fire
To those like me,
who are on an intentional journey of the Soul,
let us not forget that it is a long and slow road we travel,
not a quick or sudden arrival or conclusion.
Alone,
with my soul laid bare,
I spoke directly to myself on camera:
“What will happen to Angel?
I’m nervous.
I’m not scared, but I’m nervous.”
Do you want to ‘be awakened’?
The first step to awakening isn’t about change or fixing yourself, ironically.
It’s just about realizing you’re not awake yet.
…She had tattoos, lots of them…
Positive Affirmations give me the ick…
I vividly remember being a 10 year old girl, looking at myself in the mirror on 2 different occasions,
and feeling deeply scared of me.
(from the perspective of an emotionally guarded woman)
I’ve always been one to keep my feelings pretty neutral most of the time, you know?
I try to steer clear of ups and downs, as far as my feelings go.
It feels safe that way, to me.
If you realize a disconnect
between your soul and your body,
you can literally bring them closer together.
Keep reading as I explain
the ways I did it,
in detail.
If you’re like me,
you grew up with people who didn’t show any of their feelings
and you feel confused about what it’s like
to show your own feelings
or to be raw and real with yourself.
I had repeated dreams of a witchy woman when I was a little girl.
Imagine.
Waking up one morning and it dawns on you.
You’ve been living in a temporary fog-
a gentle, disorienting haze that’s muffled your true sense of yourself.
What if I assured you the fog is thinner than you think?
There are many different types of women.
I am writing to a very specific one.
A lot of women feel like they have lost themselves after becoming a mother.
But not all mothers feel it to the same degree.
Don’t miss Angel’s unique perspectives on being a woman and a mother.
